Speaker Series – Steve McQuillin at the Vermillion Institute

Steve McQuillin is a preservation consultant with degrees from Oberlin College and Columbia University. He grew up in Elyria and worked for the Ohio Historic Preservation Office before becoming a consultant 40 years ago. He works to obtain federal and state funding for historic building projects throughout the Midwest. He purchased and rehabilitated the Vermillion Institute 13 years ago and it serves as his home and office. Its former chapel is a large meeting space.   Steve also owns historic properties in Hayesville and Mansfield.
