Join us for our 3rd Annual Juneteenth Celebration of Freedom on Friday, June 19, 2026!
This year’s focus is family-As we celebrate the joy of freedom, we will look into the ways families were affected by the struggle to end slavery.
Join us for a full afternoon of celebration and education! Here’s what to expect:
4 Living History Tours Starting at 3:00, 3:15, 3:30, & 6:05 PM (Tour Space is Limited)
Moments That Made Us exhibit Preview open from 3:00-4:30 PM
A Visit from President Lincoln at 4:30 PM, where he will read the Emancipation Proclamation
Community Picnic with food from Buehler’s Fresh Foods & Live Music by The AFRXNTS from 4:45-6:00 PM
A Higher Law: The Oberlin-Wellington Rescue of 1858 Documentary Screening and Q&A with the filmmakers at The Ashland Theater at 7:00 PM
