Hayesville-Vermillion Cemetery Walk

Join ACHS on September 13th for our first-ever Hayesville-Vermillion Cemetery Walk! This year we will be showcasing the small town’s big personalities. Meet the Venus of Vaudeville, a nationally renowned hat-maker, a Freedman who made his way to liberty and settled in Hayesville, becoming a respected and industrious community member, and others!
The Ashland County Historical Society is excited to work with Brethren Care to provide transportation to those in need to and from the cemetery for the event. The event will begin at 2:00 and will continue until 4:00. Tours will begin promptly at 2:00, 2:30, 3:00, and 3:30 PM.
- Tours will occur throughout the two hours, but space is limited.
- Tickets are $10 per person. No day-of Registration.
- Registration will open on 8/15 for non-members.
Registration ends on September 10th at midnight.
